Kids love Hedgehogs. And it’s a lot of fun to create hedgehog crafts with your kids. Therefore I decided to turn the drawing we used for this leaves hedgehog into a free printable.
For this project, we took a nice walk in the forest with the family and collected a whole bunch of fall things to get creative with; Leaves and pinecones and what not. The leaves we used to create this hedgehog.

How to make a Leaves Hedgehog
All you need to make a hedgehog with leaves is
- the printable at the bottom of this post
- a glue stick
- and leaves
My son handed the glue stick himself (which he loved) to cover the leaves with glue and then pressed them onto the paper. I guided him a bit about where the leaves should go as he is only two years old. He was very proud of the result. I think it is pretty cute. We used large leaves, but it would also work with a whole bunch of smaller leaves.
I turned the hedgehog I used here into a printable for you, which you can find at the bottom of this post.
